Klassen am 20. April zusammen mit Prof. Lung und Prof. Wiesegger in das R\u00f6mermuseum am Hohen Markt.<!--more--> Wir sahen dort originale Ausgrabungen eines Offiziershauses mit eigener Fu\u00dfbodenheizung sowie Grabsteine und Dachziegel.<\/p>\n<p>Die Kombination aus F\u00fchrung durch das Museum und Workshop, bei dem selbst \u00fcbersetzt wurde, gab einen spannenden Einblick. Vindobona war am Rande des r\u00f6mischen Reiches, und wurde haupts\u00e4chlich als Milit\u00e4rst\u00fctzpunkt verwendet. Auf der anderen Seite der Donau hausten die \u201eBarbaren\u201c, die es zu \u00fcberwachen galt.<\/p>\n<p>Doch auch \u00fcber die Nutzung der physikalischen Gesetze in der r\u00f6mischen Antike wurde so einiges erz\u00e4hlt, beispielsweise bei den Wasserzuleitungen oder auch den Abwasserleitungen. Dem Abwassertransport wurde sogar eine eigene Animation gewidmet, genauso den Latrinen, was auch einen Einblick in andere Sparten des Lebens der R\u00f6mer gab.<\/p>\n<p><em>Autor: Matthias Bilek,
